A little voice nudged me to check out the Add/Remove control panel thereafter.

Should I say that I am pleased, or should i say FINALLY! the new installer takes into account previous installations of older versions and properly removes them, knowing it has no side-by-side operational feature.

No longer do I have look at that list of historical records documenting the versions that have graced my machine:

Firefox 1.0 PR
Firefox 1.0
Firefox 1.0.1
Firefox 1.0.2

Now it is just a happy little "Firefox 1.0.3"; i know which to select if I need to uninstall now. But, it is more likely 1.0.4 will get installed over, and then even more, before I will reach a point of time where i decide to uninstall for real.

Till IE 7.0 then.....
