MP3 radio right in the car

I couldn't write about this during the ASPInsiders summit because the network in the Microsoft Dev labs prevented FTP uploads out to external servers. Well now I can back home, and I just have to comment on this lovely device they gave us during the summit :

Just what is it? Ever had that yearning that your car's audio system could play MP3 music files? I mainly ride a motorcycle, so I don't follow car technologies but figured at this stage of time somebody already have implemented CD/DVD readers that can handle data discs and codecs for various music formats. But, if yours is a "traditional" design, grab that piece and insert a USB thumb drive loaded with your favourite MP3s. Then plug it into your cigarette lighter socket, adjust the frequency, and tune your car radio to that channel and boom!

Live MP3 radio right in your car.

    Genius.

Wish to buy one? Well, you can bid for it. A friend of mine mentioned this is not really an uncommon product, but perhaps still hasn't reached mass market appeal. I guess some concerted effort and time is required to find this in retail.

Since you ride a bike (and you look good on one) - If you want to sell yours, I would love to buy it.

Flattery does not work on me.

But, it is sitting on the shelf unused; my parents being the undorks they are don't know how to appreciate such good stuff. You can have it.
