Some people love to go on a ego trip and search their own names in Google and see how many results refer to themselves exactly. But getting a reference onto public sites is usually a tough quest, unless you opt for the quick route of performing incredibly stupid activities that will earn the attention of all the world's news sites.
A more "relevant" and down to earth perspective is to search blogs - individuals who probably know you and thus comment about yourself or link back to your own pages. Some of you may (should) already know this: Google has released an engine specifically for searching up blog pages only.
http://blogsearch.google.com/ You can now narrow down your fame.
PS - the good thing about using a forums board is I'd never get listed as a relevant blog should I try to search for myself.
