Yes Bleach has that same excrutiating cliffhangers as Naruto. And I do not mean that in a positive way. Being from the shounen vein, they carry so many similarities, especially having come from the exact same studio, Studio Pierrot.
Long talking between fights, last-minute character development, way too many characters, whole seasons dedicated to a few days worth of events, the list goes on.....
As we know the advanced state of decomposition Naruto is already in after the author has left no good material for the time span of three years - proving Studio Pierrot is unable to make any good of a show or story without guidance from manga authors - lets hope they do not catch up with Bleach's storyline.
However this is not to say they are uninteresting. Despite their juvenile methods of storytelling, they do carry that X factor charm that lures one to watch on.
ADD: I have watched many other titles through the years, spanning more genres than you might be interested in. But i haven't had time to sit down and write reviews.
